Born in Valencia, Julia Muñoz (or Lía, as she is familiarly called) studied Fine Arts and Graphic Design at the Polytechnic University of the same city.

She has worked as a graphic designer and illustrator for foundations and NGOs, as well as a freelance artist.

In recent years, she has combined her work as a designer for an association and as an art teacher for children with other illustration projects.

A restless and curious mind, she is passionate about color, its combinations, and the emotions they convey, as well as composing and creating with various elements and materials.

She finds in illustration a way to express the beauty and tenderness of everyday life, and the perfect medium for working with multiple graphic concepts.

Nacida en Valencia, Julia Muñoz (o Lía como la llaman familiarmente), estudió Bellas Artes y Diseño gráfico en la Universidad Politécnica de dicha ciudad.

Ha trabajado diseñadora gráfica e ilustradora en Fundaciones y ONGs y también como freelance.

En los últimos años compagina su trabajo como diseñadora en una asociación y como profe de arte para niños, con otros proyectos de ilustración.

De mente inquieta y curiosa, le apasiona el color, sus combinaciones y las sensaciones que nos transmiten, así como componer y crear con elementos y materiales diversos.

Encuentra en la ilustración un medio para expresar la belleza y ternura de lo cotidiano y el medio perfecto para trabajar múltiples conceptos gráficos.
